Dear Ashland School District Staff Member-

As you are aware, the Ashland School District conducted a study of our school buildings and grounds over the summer.  A Citizens Committee has been appointed to review this report, gather information from staff and the community, and prepare recommendations to the School Board regarding needed repairs, ADA improvements, and energy-efficiency improvements.  This survey is one opportunity for you to provide the committee with your first hand knowledge of the buildings you work in and of your needs as an educator. The staff meetings scheduled for the Sept. 28^th at AHS and Helman, Sept. 29^th at Walker and Sept. 30^th at AMS, Bellview, and Willow Wind will be another opportunity to help us develop a long range facilities plan.

The first survey includes some open-ended inquiries related to your teaching style, teaching needs, and visions of your ideal school facility.

A second survey will be provided at the staff meetings that will cover the technical and physical aspects of the building and your workspace i.e. heating plumbing and ventilation.
